Sort by post.updated instead of post.date

Is there a way (in a section) to sort posts by updated date as opposed to the original post date?

The original post date is the primary organizing metaphor, but I want to offer an alternative view on my blog to show what has been updated recently.

I was going to take a swipe at this, but it looks like someone else beat me to it:

Add new sorting: UpdateDate that sorts by `meta.updated`.

This resolves #1384.
