Is pandoc supported in Zola

Dear Folks,

I just came across Zola a few hours ago and was wondering if you support Pandoc’s flavor of markdown?

If you do not what alternatives would you suggest?

I was looking into Pelican and created a plugin to support Pandoc. Do you by any chance have a similar strategy?

Currently, Zola only supports CommonMark. There have been some requests for Asciidoc and rst. Adding an input format is a VERY significant amount of work, even assuming there is an existing parser for it in Rust which is a big assumption.
