I have some config.extra.variables that I store common text in, this text uses markdown notation, which up until recently was mostly, ** bold **.
However today I updated something with ~~ test ~~ and the bold parts of the markdown where fine, the strike through didn’t work though.
I display the text in the template using {{ var-with-markdown-text | markdown | safe }}
If I put ~~ text ~~ in a markdown page content and render it, it appears fine.
V10 is a great improvement, and thank you to all the contributors for your efforts, don’t like to lead with the negatives but we are just moving to Zola v10 as you might have noticed 
Trying to bring site up and there are a few oddities appearing. Will continue to put them here.
I had forgotten to enable the strikethrough option in the filter, it will be working for the next release. Thanks a lot for the bug report!
No problem, it’s not a big issue. We’ve pretty much got our website being generated on v10 with few if any issues. We are very happy with Zola here, so congratulations on a pretty smooth release.
