# Recommend a theme without javascript

I am looking for a simple yet responsive theme that has no javascript

Similar to what Hugo has:

js isn’t obligatory on overwhelmingly themes, but you’ll lose some options, like search. [https://www.getzola.org/themes/after-dark/](https://www.getzola.org/themes/after-dark/) - take a look, no-js, responsive
