# How to avoid generation of sections at all?

Hi ,

i’d like to generate a single-page site. Is it possible to avoid the generation of corresponding section-directories at all?

I already have a index-template which is rendering the whole content of my sections. Even though i set the corresponding section’s `render = false` and the page’s `draft = true`, the section’s directory (public/section) is still being generated.

Is there a way to avoid that?

Hi,

No way currently to do that. There was a thread or an issue about making sections draftable which would solve that I think.
