Add new content from command line

I recently discovered Zola as an alternative to Hugo and I am very excited about this project. As someone who works with django, having a similar template engine is amazing, I’m not a fan of the Hugo template engine.

One thing that I find lacking though is the way to template content types and then create new content using the command line.

It would be great if this could be done on par with Hugo, which uses archetypes and a then you can use the hugo new command.

It would be great to be able to type zola new in a similar fashion. Is this something that would be considered?

That’s quick unlikely to happen imo. It adds a lot of complexity for something that can be done in one copy/paste and some deletion.
